Today is an exciting day, friends. Because today, I am posting my very first waffle recipe. Except it’s not on my blog, I’m guest posting over on Julianne’s blog!
I really love how these waffles turned out. I’m not a waffle pro or anything, and I really haven’t even made them myself very many times, but waffles are one of those things I like to get whenever I go out for brunch. They’ve always seemed a little fancier to me since you have to have a special appliance to make them, unlike pancakes, french toast, biscuits, etc.
National Waffle Day was on Monday, and judging by how many waffle photos we all saw on Instagram, I think it’s safe to say that people REALLY love waffles. I’d been wanting a waffle maker for quite awhile and finally splurged…and got the cheapest one at Target. 😉 It was $20. So don’t think you have to spend a fortune on a waffle maker, people! You can have cinnamon pecan waffles at home too!
