1. This is my latest post for Draper James! Peach cobbler is a classic southern staple when it comes to desserts, and I love that they’re celebrating National Peach Cobbler Day today! I will take any excuse to celebrate dessert by eating dessert. 😉
2. For this recipe I used my grandmother’s cast iron skillet. You can use any 9-inch pan you want really, but I try to use this skillet as much as I can. My grandmother used to make all kinds of wonderful desserts and cakes, and I get a lot of my baking inspiration from her. My parents said she used to make *the best* fruity cobblers and crisps, so I love using this skillet for things like that.
3. It’s finally time for SUMMER flavors, you guys, and I’m totally HERE FOR IT. Peaches, berries, melons. Y’all just wait. 🙂
Head over to Draper James to get this classic Peach Cobbler recipe! It’s so stinking easy, you could make it and then be eating it half an hour later!

I want some peach cobbler (cherry too) and some of Granny Robbie’s apple crisp. Beautiful photos. Your peach cobbler is awesome!!!
Looks delicious! I know your grandmother would be so very proud of you! Your uncle sure is!
aw thanks, Cindy!
I love the fact you are using your grandmother’s skillet & talk about your memories of her. She would be very proud of you!
🙂 🙂 🙂
I’m in love with your gold spotty plates! And the cobbler, of course. I can’t get enough of peaches, and with summer on the horizon this is the perfect recipe to get everyone in the summer zone 🙂
Plus – serving with vanilla ice cream is always a good shout!
Thanks so much, Charlotte! The plates are from Target. 🙂
I LOVE cobblers! Also, why have I never tried peach cobbler before??
I have been itching to use my cast iron skillet the past couple of days. This looks like the perfect excuse.
