It’s been one of those weeks where I’ve been pretty productive at work, but everything else has been kind of crazy! So I’m really looking forward to this weekend. And do you know how I like to celebrate Fridays and the weekend?
Margaritas.

Ever since I got my new blender, I’ve been dying to make as many flavored margaritas as possible. New ideas pop into my head all the time, so I keep a list on my phone. Pretty sure watermelon needs to happen next. And then probably something with peaches.
I made Strawberry Coconut Margaritas once, and ever since then I’ve wanted to give the coconut layers their own post. Strawberry is always good, but the coconut was the real star in those margs. And I really just liked the idea of a solid white margarita.

I knew these were good, but my dad, who I’ve never seen drink a margarita before, loved these. After I photographed them, I put them in the freezer for later. My mom doesn’t like tequila, sooo more margs for us! So my dad and I had one, then the next day he had another one. And THEN he was like, “Are you going have this last one?” And I was like, “Are you trying to drink my margarita? Is that what’s happening right now?”
And now I feel bad because I never drank it, haha. Something about coming home from the gym after work and then drinking a margarita didn’t feel right. Which is the only time it shouldn’t feel right. Margaritas the rest of the time!

Happy weekend, friends!

If you love coconut, you will totally love these! Thanks, Ashley! 🙂
I adore the idea of making coconut margaritas! If I had a brand new blender, I would be doing the same thing. I’m thinking you need to put the recipes up for these watermelon and peach margaritas and then I’m pretty sure my week will be complete. Love it! Pinned!
Yummm this sounds delicious! Coconut + tequila is always a good combo 🙂
I am all about coconut and all about margaritas. So needless to say—but I am going to say it anyway—I pinned this. Yay for margaritas Fridays. Well actually any day is margarita day—–what was I thinking?
