It’s no secret that, in addition to baking desserts and things mostly made of butter and sugar, I like to make cocktails. For a baking blog, I’ve posted quite a few drink recipes. I mean, it’s like 80% margaritas. But aside from those, I think my favorite cocktails tend to be the bubbly ones. I’ll take a “sparkling” anything over a regular version any day of the week. Like sparkling margaritas and bourbon smashes. They’re perfect for celebrating the weekend and summer get-togethers. #FRIYAY
So, when I heard about Canada Dry Sparkling Seltzer Water, I got really excited. Not only is it bubbly, it comes in different flavors. Think of the possibilities!

I’m in love with the fact that this is a Sparkling Cocktail Bar, aka, a SPARKLE BAR. Right? How perfect! I had the best time making these drinks for some friends I had over to my apartment last weekend. Of the four cocktails, I think the Sparkling Strawberry Basil Lemonade was everyone’s favorite. The others include The Golden Hour, which uses fresh orange and pineapple juice; Canadian Sunrise (my personal fave), a fun spin on a classic cocktail; and Sparkling Margaritas (because I had to). The flavors of Canada Dry Sparkling Water I used are Mandarin Orange and Lemon Lime. They added plenty of fizzy bubbles and an extra punch of flavor.

I made these drinks for a little get-together at my apartment last weekend, but I think this Sparkle Bar would be so great at an outdoor party or if you have an outdoor entertaining space. If you’re having a cookout or barbecue, you only need some Canada Dry and your favorite fresh juices. There is alcohol in all of these, but only about an ounce. So if you’d like to make these drinks family friendly, you can simply leave the alcohol out.
There’s just something so refreshing about light and fizzy cocktails, right? Especially in the summer. I mean, can you imagine sipping on one of these at the beach right now? Perfect way to round out the summer! Although it will be summer here in Alabama for like another two months. Just gives me more time to enjoy these drinks! 😉

How fun! Isn’t everything better with bubbles?
A sparkle bar! I love that!!! This is just so so fun. PS I also love that white piece of furniture! I need to get me something like that!
I haven’t seen these sparkling seltzer waters yet…I definitely need to get my hands on some! I’m always jealous of people drinking gin and tonics, because they look so refreshing (but I can’t stand tonic water). Now I’ve got my own sparkly drinks to make!
I love your cocktail bar!! I need one of these at home ASAP. When it comes to mixing drinks i’m all about the fizzy waters and citrus-y flavors like this. None of that coke or pepsi for me!
I’ll just assume my invite got lost in the mail? 😉 This looks/sounds so delicious and fun!
Very cute idea! Perfect for summer!
I wonder if you could adapt a yellow hammer recipe to use some of these flavors?
Wow, there really is a Canada Dry cocktail that’s perfect for everyone at your party from these! Yum! #client
This is too cute, Beth! I’m coming over for cocktails 🙂
Loving all these drinks, such creative ideas!
How fun is a sparkle bar for a girl’s night? Love all the recipes you mixed as well.
