I hope everyone had a wonderful three-day weekend! I had absolutely zero plans and it was wonderful. Well, I made and shot three recipes, so it was a pretty productive weekend for me! I also didn’t really realize until this weekend just how HOT it is outside already. I feel like it’s so early in the summer (technically it’s still spring, right?), but I didn’t realize just how far into summer we actually are down here in the South.

MARGS.
Plus I got a new blender. (A Ninja !!!) You may remember these Strawberry Coconut Margaritas I posted for Cinco de Mayo (ps, how is May almost over already??). Before I made those margs, I thought, “This is probably going to break my blender.” It wasn’t heavy duty or anything, so I figured ice might not be the best thing to put in it. But I really needed those margaritas once I got the idea in my head.

But regular margaritas? Nope. Beergaritas. These would be great with a raspberry beer, but I just used a regular Blue Moon we had in the fridge already. Plus, I didn’t see any raspberry beers at the grocery store. If you can find them, please try it and tell me how it is!

ingredients
- 2 cups raspberries
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1 cup beer
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 cups ice
instructions
- In a food processor or blender, puree raspberries until smoother and there are no lumps. Press the puree through a fine mesh strainer and discard the seeds.
- Add the water and sugar to the raspberry puree and stir.
- In a blender, combine the raspberry puree mixture, the tequila, beer, and lime juice. I added about two cups of ice, but you can add more or less depending on your preference. Blend until completely smooth.
- Pour into four glasses, garnish with limes and raspberries.
- Enjoy!

And now, because we all need some cute summer stuff to go with our summer soirees, I’ve got a really fun giveaway for you! The prize is a $20 gift card to Swoozie’s, which is a store full of the cutest cups, jars, party decor, and entertaining necessities. When I walked into that store for the first time, it just made me want to throw a party! They have a ton of beach and summer themed products right now. Here are some of my favorite things I would totally put a gift card towards:

These beergaritas are such a fun idea, Beth. They look like they’d be so refreshing and perfect for a barbecue. And I love the fun pink color!
Thanks, Jamie! Not gonna lie, I am in love with the color! 🙂
I love swoozies! And these beergaritas are happening soon! Yay for 3 day weekends!
I hope you give these a try, Ashley! 🙂
Every time you post a drink recipe, I think “OOH that’s getting made for my birthday. And this one! And this one!” but these might ACTUALLY get made this Thursday for my birthday.
Haha, thanks Faith! I think there will be many more drink recipes in the future. 😉 Happy early Birthday!
Oh these beergaritas look so yummy and cute! Thanks for the recipe Beth!
Thanks so much, Jessica! 🙂
I’m a huge margarita fan but never tried one made with beer. Love the idea! Definitely need to try this recipe. Great post, Beth!
Thanks, Bill! You should definitely give beergaritas a try. I’ve only had one once before, and it was just traditional margarita flavored. The raspberry is better, I think. 🙂
I love getting a mix of lime and strawberry! I need to make this beergarita asap!
Oh, lime and strawberry margs sound great! Thanks, Meegan. 🙂
It is super hot here already too – over 90 again today! I just hibernate inside : )
These look fantastic – I’m going to need everything I can get to keep me cool this summer! haha
Thanks, Ashley! Gah, yeah it’s been in the 90s here too. More ice cold margs! 😉
I am more a beer person, but I love mango margaritas. This raspberry beergarita you have here sounds fantastic!!!
Have a great week!
I’m sort of the opposite, Nadine! I don’t know the first thing about beer. I think I only like one kind? Haha. Anyway, mango margs sound fantastic!
I am so behind the trends. I have never heard of a beergarita! Typically, I am not a beer person but these look so good, I would never turn one down.
Hahaha, Nora you aren’t too behind the times. Honestly I’ve only had one beergarita before and thought it would be fun to try making it myself. I’m not typically a beer person either, but it isn’t overpowering or anything. It’s a nice blend and the raspberry helps. 🙂
mango!
Love!
I’d have to say strawberry is my favorite flavor, but I have a feeling raspberry may be my favorite after trying these!
It was a gorgeous weekend. These look super pretty. Photos turned out awesome!
Have a marvelous Wednesday!
You know I’ve never had a beergarita?! They never seemed to catch my eye, but NOW, now I must make this beautiful pink one IMMEDIATELY! It’s so pretty and I love raspberries in everything! 😀
strawberry
Beth, I am so in love with our Ninja too! I had no idea how terrible my old blender was in comparison–I’m so glad I’ve seen the light 🙂 These are such a fun twist on margaritas 🙂
I am seeing these beergaritas everywhere and still I haven’t tried these! Looks so good!
I do not drink alcohol… but I’d take a strawberry virgin margarita!
I’ve never heard of beergaritas!! They sound so delicious and look so pretty. Love them already. My favoriite margs are strawberries!
I have yet to meet a margarita I didn’t like! Lime might be my fave, but these raspberry beergaritas looks so thirst quenching!
