When we rang in the new year this time last December, I remember hoping and PRAYING that 2014 would be better than 2013. This year was still rough, but I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress in the “career” and “being an adult” areas. Got a big girl job and an apartment. Bought myself some furniture and dress pants. Started a local blogging community with some friends. But I have to say, one-and-a-half years out of college and I still feel like I’m struggling with this “real life” thing.
Sometimes this is okay though, because you have the occasional nights that are made up of margaritas in mason jars and new friends and Cards Against Humanity and it makes you feel like you’re in college again. And those times are really fun.

In an effort to make something at least a little different, and also to just have another reason to buy one of those fun-shaped Pom Wonderful bottles, I decided to go with pomegranate. And these margs couldn’t be any easier! You know, after you make it through opening the bottle of champagne.
You really only need 4 ingredients: pomegranate juice, lime juice, tequila, and champagne. Easy as pie!

These margs are the perfect way to say LATERRR to 2014 and ring in the new year! Here’s to 2015, y’all!

Sparkling Pomegranate Margaritas
Ingredients
- 5 cups pomegranate juice I used Pom Wonderful
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 cup silver tequila
- 1-2 bottles of champagne I used spumante
Instructions
- In a pitcher, stir together pomegranate juice, lime juice, and tequila. Pour about 1/2 cup into each glass (you should be able to fill about 10 glasses) and top with about the same amount of champagne. Enjoy responsibly!
Notes
